New Motivation!

My Gym is doing a weight loss class that I joined. We are 8 weeks into the program and so far….

I started with 3.5 laps and now at the 8 week checkin I can do 8 laps around the track.

I started with 22 pushups in one minute and now at the 8 week checkin I can do 30.

I started with 35 curl ups in one minute and now at the 8 week checkin I can do 48.

I have lost 6 lbs and 1.5% body fat so far.

I loved all the stats above for one sole reason, they all showed progress in the right direction.

A not so lazy sunday!!!

I woke up at 6:00 am today…waaay too early for a sunday am! I wanted to sleep in but I could not for some reason, so I decided to give up trying to sleep and get out of bed.

I ate breakfast, helped my cousin move, took a power nap, read, went for a run and now its time to blog and go to bed.

I ran the 1.4 mile loop around the chestnut hill reservoir in 23 minutes. Not impressive…I know! I managed to burn off 227 calories though….yay!
